These are usually experiments testing out different block designs and combinations.

My first attempt! The green, blue & reddish-orange fabrics were from a shirt & the pink satin was from my grandmother's pillowcase.

You would never know it from this awful picture, but this was a nice little sampler. Many of the fabrics were used in the Boston Common quilt and there were some lovely toiles. 2003
